Renters insurance quick online quote / estimate – no personal information?
I’m a teacher looking for a website that provides quick, estimated renters insurance quotes. Since I will be having students use the site, they will not have an actual property and all its details to enter for a full quote. Almost every site I’ve located requires name, address, and other personal information which the students will not be able to enter (since this is a fictitious situation). I found allstate.com’s “quick quote” and it seems pretty good. Any other sites to suggest? Thanks!

The reason that info is requested is because the rating is based on city state zip for fire protection classes which establish the rates charged. By entering a city, st, & zip (even if ficticious) and an amount of coverage (personal contents) should get you a rate. Also, age is a factor for discounts; as is the number of units (if an apartment bldg or a single-family rental home). Confused? That’s why people consult agents.Good Luck.
